posts and rechirps
experimenting with putting filtered post feeds on the home page a bit. since i can filter lists, i can put original content in a different list, with its own RSS/Atom feed alongside a separate list of rechirps, since you can separate out feeds by tag (look, i am nothing if not on brand here...)
i kind of like this idea because... this isn't social media, i feel like the tone here is different than a wall of posts and reshares that you scroll past at high speed. a post appearing in your reader demands a little more attention. sharing other people's things is great, but there's a balance to be struck, and i fundamentally believe in the idea that people should be able to curate their feeds and timelines to the greatest extent possible. being able to say "please only show me original posts" feels right to me
anyway, i went ahead and threw up one of Ticky's recent art pieces, a cool ANSI piece by The Green Herring as a test of this. i think i broadly like how it works out so far
